The Smooth Divorce Transition Program

I’m So Over My Ex, I’m Ecstatic!

The Smooth Divorce Transition Program,  “I’m So Over My Ex I’m Ecstatic!,” is a 3-Step, 10-Module program designed to deliver a long term, full transition from divorce. It is a structured program that consists of three steps:

  1. Stabilize your current emotion-based reactions to your divorce, so you can …
  2. Dissolve Your Reluctance to Accept Your New Life Situation by releasing the parts of the past you no longer need, and keeping the parts you can still use, which allows you to …
  3. Prepare for Your Future including your health, wealth, love, and perfect self-expression.

To Stabilize Your Reactions to Your Divorce in Step 1 of I’m So Over My Ex I’m Ecstatic!,  you start by identifying and talking about your reactions to your marriage and the divorce in depth. Then you deal with the disturbing ambivalence most of us feel and set your sights on exactly you want to achieve with your transition.

Next you Dissolve Your Reluctance to Accept Your New Life Situation in Step 2. The heart of a successful transition from divorce rests in dissolving the emotion-based resistance to change triggered by loss and fear of an unknown future. Here you release those parts of the past you do not need, and keep those parts of the past you still do need. The result? You are now free and clear of past baggage to embrace all the positive potential that awaits in your new life situation.

Finally you Prepare for Your Future in Step 3. In this step you plan for your future by setting goals for the four pillars of your life: your health, wealth, love, and self-expression. In addition, you begin your preparation for your next committed relationship.

This 3-step, 10-module program is based on current scientific knowledge of the process required to dissolve resistance to change and to make successful life transitions.

“I’m So Over My Ex I’m Ecstatic!” provides the SKELETON of a process on which you can hang your unique, personalized issues that are preventing you from making a swift and full transition from divorce.

Some programs are a waste of time. Some programs are a waste of money. Some programs are a waste of both. “I’m So Over My Ex I’m Ecstatic!” is a waste of neither. It is a highly personalized program, which delivers a full and complete transition from divorce up to ten times faster than the norm while eliminating the pain of divorce and drastically reducing one’s fear of an unknown future, while preparing you for a rewarding, satisfying next chapter in your life after divorce.

Whom Do You Want to Work With?

Three Alternatives:

The SDR Program is program based on “targeted talking.” That means the content of the modules generates conversation topics that are of unique relevance to you. The power of the program lies not only in identifying the essence of how you are experiencing the divorce recovery process, but also in disclosing and discussing your experience with a trusted individual. Therefore, successful recovery requires a trusted friend or coach to talk to. This choice defines the type of service you will use.

You have three alternatives to choose from: (1) a trusted friend, (2) a group, or (3) a personal coach (Click on each below for a full explanation):

Assisted by Friends

If you are looking for the the most economical alternative that also provides the most convenience and flexibility of controlling your own pace through the program, then you need the Assisted by Friends option. Using this option, you work through the identical 3-step, 10-module program workbook that is in all Coaching options.

The Assisted by Friends is just that: you select a trusted Transition Partner to assist you through each module of the workbook. Don’t know whom to choose? Do not worry. There is an activity in the very first module of the workbook that will help you to choose the person you want to work with. In addition, there are detailed instructions for your Transition Partner to help him or her provide the type of conversation help required to support you, and speed along your recovery from Divorce.

You are encouraged to participate in up to three Q&A sessions each month. These Q&A sessions allow you to get outside of your regular group, and ask questions that may arise during the time between your regular sessions. They also let you gain valuable insight to struggles that others might be experiencing, allowing you to avoid certain pitfalls in your own recovery. In addition, transition partners are welcome to join the Q&A sessions to ask about problems they are facing when working with their divorced friend.

Before you join the group, you will have two private one-to-one sessions with Dr. Young.
